Sixth Annual Conference on Teaching and Learning
Oakland University, Rochester, MI
May 9-10, 2012

Oakland University and University of Windsor are pleased to announce that registration is open for the Sixth Annual Conference on Teaching and Learning. This year the conference will be held at Oakland University.

Registration is free for all members of the University of Windsor community, so if you’re a graduate assistant or teaching assistant, please take advantage of this chance to participate in engaging dialogue, learn new strategies for working with students, and ask questions about the latest research from educators who care about teaching and learning.

The theme this year is “Excellence in Education,” which under the broad rubric of excellence in teaching and learning include the following:

  • Evaluating Teaching Practices
  • Faculty Development
  • Student Engagement
  • Assessing Student Learning
  • Student Persistence and Retention

Free transportation is being coordinated from the University of Windsor campus to Oakland for each day of the conference, but spaces are limited. If you would like to reserve a seat, get in touch as soon as possible. For more information on travel, contact Marilyn Powley at mpowley@uwindsor.ca
