GATA Winter Academy is the greatest hits version of GATAcademy. On January 7th, 2015, we’ll be offering condensed versions of five teaching and learning workshops every GA/TA needs, focusing on professionalism, cross-cultural learning, and everyday classroom tasks. This year’s topics will be as follows:

• Teaching in the Multicultural Classroom

• Professional Practice: Understanding Issues in Professionalism for the 21st Century

• Grading and Feedback

• Providing an Effective Lab Experience

• Active Learning: Effective Tutorials and Dynamic Discussions

GATA Winter Academy has a lot to offer no matter whether you’re a seasoned professional looking for a refresher or are just starting out as a GA/TA. Participants register for each individual workshop topic, so you can register for as many workshops as your schedule will allow. We’ll be offering snacks and refreshments to keep you going in between sessions. As always, there is no fee to register.
