Office of Open Learning: Workshops

A one-stop shop for all your open learning needs

Welcome! Please log in.

As we all face the challenge and promise of moving rapidly to online learning as a result of the Corona virus' impact on our daily lives, support for developing your online teaching and for using the educational technology tools available to you is more important than ever. The Office of Open Learning is working closely with our colleagues in the Centre for Teaching and Learning and IT Services, as well as the campus community, to provide the support you need as a teacher heading online.

Options for support are being continuously updated to meet the needs of the campus, and the current courses, workshops and experience are available below. Courses and workshops include our 5-day Introduction to teaching online, and the half-day Online Teaching 101 course, as well as faculty-specific sessions.

If you need immediate support, please visit the Virtual helpdesk in the BB Cafe Organization site Virtual Classroom (Note: Log in to Blackboard before clicking the link above to go directly to the virtual classroom) or if that link doesn't work, use the guest link. Hours and updates are posted on the COVID-19 Preparedness Workshops page. If you require customized or tailored help that can't be addressed in the virtual classroom, please submit a ticket at uwindsor.ca/bbhelp and let us know what you need. Please note that the volume of requests is very high at this time, but we will do our best to accommodate your requests as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience!
