Curtis Hyra

Curtis is a PhD student in Argumentation Studies at the University of Windsor, and will teach Informal Logic: Fallacy in Fall 2017. He has a Master’s degree in philosophy, and has been a TA/GA at Windsor for over four years, covering courses in ethics, legal philosophy, environmental philosophy, and technology human values and the environment. Curtis’ research is interdisciplinary in nature, combining insights from Philosophy, Linguistics, Psychology, and Neuroscience to investigate the nature and effect of arguments in natural language. He has presented this research at conferences in North America and Europe.
