Clickers – Reports, Conditional Branching, Teams and Demographics

This more advanced session extends knowledge of clicker use using TurningPoint software, including how to:

  • select and utilize various reports available,
  • set up and record group responses, 
  • use conditional branching questions,
  • create questions during class time, and
  • integrate response statistics and demographics into a presentation in real time.

Please bring your laptop with TurningPoint software installed and your receiver/clicker to participate in a hands-on session with the rest of the group during the workshop.  Please contact ctlworkshops@uwindsor.ca if you have any further questions.

Smart Board and Clicker Technology in the Classroom

Are you interested in learning about:
- how to use a SMART Board effectively in your classroom;
- how to design effective multiple choice questions that can be used on exams and with clickers; and
- how clicker technology can enhance student engagement in your classroom?
Then please join facilitators Lorie Stolarchuk, Learning Technology Trainer for CTL, and Kyle Pearce, Mathematics teacher for the Greater Essex County District School Board as they discuss and demonstrate these two technologies.
Note: This workshop is only for the students in Dr. Roland's W 2011 Language & Cultural Engagement Seminar class.
