Melissa Pare

Melissa Pare is a third-year doctoral student in the Department of Kinesiology. She is a member of the Sport Psychology and Physical Activity Research Collaborative (SPPARC) lab where she researches psychological skills used in sport injury and rehabilitation and exercises’ influence on university students with mental health issues. Mel has been a Graduate Assistant (GA) for four years now (9 semesters) at both UWindsor and Laurier, where she completed her Master’s in Kinesiology. Being a GA has been a foundational part of Mel’s graduate school experience, and she genuinely enjoys connecting with students about course concepts, study skills, and aspirations for the future.
