Alexander Pershái
Dr. Alexander Pershái, Ph.D., is an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Advisor in the Faculty of Engineering. Dr. Pershái possesses a proven track record of working with issues related to gender equality, race and ethnicity, gender diversity, immigration, and other equity-deserving groups. Dr. Pershái offers over twenty years of experience in leadership, research, program development and curriculum design. They research interests include diversity & inclusion, meaningful DEI practices, gender-neutral and inclusive language, language politics, transgender issues, non-binary identities, migration and diaspora, social minorities, and post-socialist transition.
