Siyaram Pandey
Since joining the University of Windsor’s Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry as an Assistant Professor just seven years ago, Dr. Siyaram Pandey (BSc Hons, MSc, BHU, India; PhD, JNU/CCMB, India), now an Associate Professor and recipient of the Alumni Award for Distinguished Contributions to University Teaching, has made a powerful impression as a passionate teacher, researcher, and writer.
Prior to teaching, Dr. Pandey’s primary concern was research, and though he has established himself as a prominent cancer researcher, he is also respected here and elsewhere as an accessible, engaging, and personable faculty member and professor, who enthusiastically attends to the needs of his students. He is an explorer of innovative teaching methods, always willing to look to students for input on ways of improving their classroom experience.
