Dr. Mohsan Beg is a licensed clinical psychologist, director of the Student Counselling Centre, and chairs the Students of Concern Committee and the Wellness Centre Committee. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Windsor and completed his undergraduate work at the University of Toronto. Prior to attending graduate school, Dr. Beg worked for two years as a member of a mobile crisis team providing front-line intervention for psychiatric emergencies in Toronto. Dr. Beg’s background experiences is diverse and includes trauma counselling in the emergency room of Detroit Receiving Hospital, the forensics unit of the former Clarke Institute of Psychiatry, working at a children's mental health facility, and an internship at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. Dr. Beg's clinical interests are in the area of anxiety and mood disorders as well as in trauma counselling.
