Welcome! Please log in.

Experiential education brings classroom content to life - students practice concepts, test theories, and challenge their own limits. Well designed experiential education can be truly transformative.

To support faculty in the development of effective experiential education, the University of Windsor is bringing the National Society for Experiential Education’s Experiential Education Academy to Windsor this summer, July 10 - 12, 2018

The Experiential Education Academy (EEA) is a three-day intensive immersion into the theory and practice of experiential education. Completion of the EEA workshops will provide you with professional certification from the National Society for Experiential Education (NSEE) as well as a one-year membership to the NSEE. Registering for this three-day certification will also allow you the option to register for an additional full-day EE capstone workshop on Friday, July 13.

The certification workshops and the capstone will all be located at the Mackenzie Hall Cultural Centre, 3277 Sandwich St W.

The EEA is open to faculty, sessional lecturers, AAS and staff involved in curriculum development or delivery of experiential learning.  Staff members should secure permission to participate from their direct supervisor prior to registering.  Questions can be directed to Kerri Zold at kzold@uwindsor.ca.

There is no charge to participants and lunches will be included. Space is limited.

Please note: this is a three full-day event. Please make sure you are able to commit to all three days prior to registering.  Only participating in the entire EEA will provide participants with EEA Certification.
