In this session, participants will explore differences in communicative and cultural styles that may prevent students from producing high quality assignments. Participants will also have the opportunity to analyse one of their own assignments to find where possible changes can lead to higher achievement from students.

In this workshop, we'll explore some approaches of eAssessment, which can be easily adopted into your courses including online quizzes and exams, case studies, discussions, peer evaluation, adaptive assessment tasks, ePortfolios, connecting to simulations or other third party applications, providing options to allow students to choose their assessments, and so much more! We will also review an introduction to the theory and best practices of eAssessment, as well as feature some real scenarios from faculty members along with their experiences and recommendations. There will be a question and answer period to address individual issues, time permitting.
