Gordon Joughin
Gordon Joughin is an Associate Professor of Higher Education and recent Director of the Teaching and Educational Development Institute at The University of Queensland, Australia. He has written extensively on assessment of student learning in higher education, edited Assessment, Learning and Judgement in Higher Education (Springer, 2009), and is a co-editor of the Canadian series, Collected Essays on Learning and Teaching associated with the annual conference of the Canadian Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE). Gordon has overseen The University of Queensland’s selection of candidates for national teaching excellence awards and the selection of the University’s internal teaching excellence award winners, as well as conducting workshops to help candidates prepare successful submissions about their teaching.
