Useful Things in Boxes

On April 2, 2012, in Being a GA/TA, Think About It, UWindsor, by Candace Nast

There’s some construction going on in my home right now, which means there’s a big mess in the living room. There are boxes of miscellaneous stuff that I should have sorted ages ago, but for one reason after another, I’ve put it off. Today I decided to dig in and see what I might get rid of/repurpose/rediscover and when I saw this list, I thought it might come in handy for anyone who does academic writing. I’m not sure where this list comes from originally, I just know that I kept it pinned over my desk for years and added to it as I could. When I changed offices it didn’t get pinned up again, so I forgot I had it.

What helpful things do you keep pinned, placed, or taped nearby to help you with your work?
